SONYA MODA is a growing Australian fashion brand known for its feminine silhouettes and elevated occasion and resort wear. With global customers and leading wholesale partners, the brand continues to expand internationally.
We are seeking a highly organised Studio & Operations Assitant to work closely with the Founder and support the day-to-day operations of the business.
This is a hands-on and highly varied role suited to someone who enjoys working across e-commerce, logistics, operations, photoshoots and general business support in a fast-moving fashion environment. The ideal candidate will become a key operational support to the Founder and play an important role in keeping the business organised as it continues to grow.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations & Inventory
• Assist with stock tracking and inventory management
• Coordinate packing lists and shipments between Australia, our USA showroom and 3PL partners
• Conduct stock counts and inventory reconciliation
• Maintain organised operational systems and stock processes
• Assist with launch preparation and stock coordination
Production & Logistics
• Assist the Founder with production timelines and supplier coordination
• Coordinate incoming shipments and sample tracking
• Liaise with freight forwarders, warehouses and logistics partners
• Prepare wholesale orders for retail partners
• Assist with invoice preparation and operational documentation where required
E-commerce & Shopify
• Manage day-to-day Shopify operations
• Process returns, exchanges and gift cards
• Assist with product uploads and inventory updates in Shopify
• Oversee fulfilment workflow and support dispatch operations where required
• Pack and dispatch online orders during busy periods or where operational support is required
Founder & Studio Support
• Assist the Founder with day-to-day business support and operational coordination
• Help manage timelines, logistics and business priorities across launches and campaigns
• Organise and assist with photoshoots, fittings and campaign preparation
• Attend shoot locations where required to support styling, organisation and operations
• Assist with general studio organisation and business administration tasks
Customer Experience
• Assist with customer service communication and operational enquiries
• Ensure a high level of customer care and response management
ABOUT YOU
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Able to multitask and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working across both operational coordination and hands-on tasks
• Shopify experience preferred
• Previous experience within fashion, e-commerce or operations preferred
• Strong Excel and inventory management skills highly regarded
WORKING STRUCTURE
• Part-time role
• 3 days per week (Tuesday-Thursday)
• Based in Sydney and requires in-person work
• Opportunity for the role to grow into a full-time position as the business expands
