Role Description
This is a hybrid role for a Social Media & Marketing Contractor at Sonya Moda in Gregory Hills, Sydney. The Social Media & Marketing Contractor will be responsible for all social media platforms and in-house marketing. The desired candidate will lead the brands online presence and work closely with Founder Sonya to develop and implement all email and online social media and marketing across the brand.

Day to Day

  • Developing and implementing a social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Plan and schedule all weekly social media activity across Sonya Moda’s social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Pinterest.
  • Curate Sonya Moda’s social media feeds to include campaign launches, promotional activity and influencer content, ensuring all content is engaging and on-brand
  • Work closely with the Founder to develop and execute Sonya Moda’s social media strategy to build brand awareness, drive engagement and increase conversion.
  • Copy-write engaging and on brand content across all social channels.
  • Manage social media content creation from ideation to execution, capturing content and editing videos.
  • Attend campaign and eCommerce shoots, as well as brand and store events to capture content for social channels.
  • Curating content, including editing ensuring a creative direction with brand storytelling to drive traffic and engagement
  • Developing weekly EDMs and updating flows in Klaviyo
  • Uploading website content, campaign pages, product pages

Qualifications

  • Two or more years of experience working in social media with fashion or beauty experience preferred.
  • Qualifications in Digital Marketing, Communications, PR and or a related field
  • Experience using Klaviyo
  • Experience using Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator an advantage
  • Proficiency in capturing and editing video and photo content.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media strategies and best practices for each platform.
  • Passion for social media and influencer marketing, with an understanding of social trends.
  • Analytic skills, with the ability to collect and collate data to create actionable insights.
  • Creative mindset to develop innovative concepts and ideas.
  • Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and work to meet deadlines.

 This is a 3-4 days per week hybrid Contractor role with the opportunity to progress to full time.

Warehouse and Fulfillment Contractor

Role Description
SONYA MODA is seeking warehouse and fulfillment coordinator, 3 days per week. The role will be heavily focused on working in the warehouse to fulfill customer orders, returns and general warehouse duties.This is a Sydney-based position, working from our Gregory Hills warehouse.

Day to Day

  • Packing and fulfilling customer orders
  • Work diligently to ensure orders are packed and dispatched on time
  • Performing stock takes when required
  • Packing, barcoding and fulfilling wholesale buyer orders
  • Generating packing slips and shipping labels via Shopify
  • Steaming and folding garments for customer orders
  • Monitoring orders as they come through and ensuring the correct items are shipped
  • Work diligently to ensure products meet quality standards, orders are packed and dispatched on time
  • Managing returns and putting away incoming stock into appropriate locations
  • Warehouse maintenance including removing empty boxes, keeping clear and tidy pathways
  • Maintaining a high level of organisation, safety, and cleanliness within the warehouse
  • Identify and address discrepancies in stock records and ensure units online are correct

Qualifications

  • Experience with handling and processing stock in a warehouse environment
  • Available 3 days per week. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Experience with Shopify is highly regarded
  • Proven experience in a warehouse role with an ability to multitask
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges
  • An ability to lift and carry boxes frequently
  • Strong attention to detail is a must
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills is highly regarded but not required
  • Highly reliable and punctual with their own means of transport
