It is absolutely important to us that you are completely satisfied with your purchase, which is why we offer a store credit only if the item/s are returned to us within 14 days from delivery, this resolution applies if;
- The item does not fit you,
- You are not satisfied with the quality,
- Or, you have simply changed your mind.
Any later and it will NOT be accepted. We do not offer refunds or exchanges.
All item(s) being returned must be accompanied by original packaging – gift boxes, swim bags and poly bags with no visible signs of damage or wear, pulls, snags, stretching, stains or odor. Due to hygiene reasons swim bottoms and one pieces cannot be returned. SONYA reserves the right to refuse the product if the item does not meet our standards.
If your item is returned outside of our 14 day return policy or is not returned in the above condition and pass our quality check, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item/s back.
We do not refund initial shipping charges for items returned. To initiate a return, download and fill out the form below or include your original receipt with your returned item/s.

Please note you will be responsible for all return shipping fees unless an item is deemed faulty. We recommend using a trackable service to reduce the risk of lost parcels.
SONYA does not refund international prepaid tax and duties paid at the time of checkout should you wish to return an item. Contact your local customs office to obtain your tax refund.
We do not offer returns on any sale items reduced by 40% or more unless deemed faulty. Items reduced by 40% or more are deemed final sale. If returned despite this policy, items will be sent back to you at an additional charge.
Returns outside of the 14 day policy will not be accepted. SONYA reserves the right to deny unauthorised returns that do not meet or follow our return policy and procedures.
Upon receipt of your returned merchandise they will be checked over prior to final approval to process your online-store credit. Your return will be processed within 3-5 business days of receiving the returned garment(s). Shipping costs will not be refunded.
We do not facilitate exchanges. If you wish to swap your item for a different size, colour or style, please choose a store credit. This gives you the freedom to select any items you want. We do not hold stock while your return is being processed. If you are worried about an item selling out, we recommend purchasing it right away while you wait for your store credit.
A faulty item claim must be made within 3 days of receiving your goods. For faulty garments, please email your invoice number along with photos of the fault to email@example.com
If a fault does not amount to major failure in the garment, we are entitled to elect between providing you with a repair, replacement or other remedy.
Products that have a major fault or manufacturing fault may be returned for a refund, replacement/exchange or a credit note. For products with minor faults, we can offer to repair these for you. This policy does not exclude or replace your rights under any applicable law.
Faulty return postage costs will be covered by SONYA.
SONYA does not cover the cost of return shipping. We recommend shipping your returns parcel using a trackable postage service of your choice. SONYA is not liable for any parcels that are lost on their way to us.
LOST, DAMAGED OR STOLEN ITEMS
SONYA is not responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen packages once it is shipped from our facility. In addition, packages that say delivered that have not arrived fall in the lost, damaged and stolen category. Please contact the shipping carrier and open an enquiry directly.
